StoreConnect reported the release of a complete ecommerce 3.0 solution for small and midsize businesses built on top of Salesforce, the world's No. 1 CRM platform. The company described the product, which shares its name, as a single platform for managing marketing, CRM, ordering, inventory and ecommerce systems. Mikel Lindsaar, founder and CEO of StoreConnect, pointed out that StoreConnect is backed by the full power of Salesforce. All updates to online stores are done within Salesforce with Salesforce and StoreConnect instantly synchronizing customer data to keep orders, promotions and stock levels up to date, Lindsaar stated. In addition, he noted, available integrations extend beyond Salesforce to many leading payment gateways, ERP platforms, and software programs, which improves accuracy by removing the need for manual data cross-entry.
