StoreConnect reported the release of a complete ecommerce 3.0 solution for small and midsize businesses built on top of Salesforce, the world's No. 1 CRM platform. The company described the product, which shares its name, as a single platform for managing marketing, CRM, ordering, inventory and ecommerce systems. Mikel Lindsaar, founder and CEO of StoreConnect, pointed out that StoreConnect is backed by the full power of Salesforce. "We built StoreConnect to focus on what is important: the time of our customers," he said. "Because we are built on top of Salesforce, our customers can leverage the tens of thousands of applications available on the Salesforce AppExchange to extend and integrate with their other systems." Lindsaar emphasized that StoreConnect integrations only have to be built once, unlike similar offerings with multiple integrations and APIs that merchants must continually maintain. StoreConnect does away with all of that with its ecommerce 3.0 solution, he stated.
Lindsaar further noted that StoreConnect won the Salesforce International Innovation award for the Independent Software Vendor Retail Sector in 2021. He further noted that StoreConnect plus Salesforce offers a range of functionality in a complete, end-to-end ecommerce 3.0 environment that facilitates handling all ecommerce inquiries, sales support, service and order fulfillment from one platform. Other features and benefits he mentioned include:
All of these benefits and features come with continuous, robust support with advanced protections and up-to-date compliance, 24/7 system monitoring, software version upgrades and security patches.
Merchants can run multiple brands from one StoreConnect installation, Lindsaar said, while maintaining each unique identity, URL, pricing, products and local currencies. In addition, he noted, merchants can use Salesforce tools to track sales, promotions and stock levels. "With StoreConnect, you no longer need to manage different platforms to keep track of inventory, sales, shipments, customers and taxes," Lindsaar said. "StoreConnect and Salesforce provide one place to manage sales, service and support across multiple stores and accounts." All updates to online stores are done within Salesforce with Salesforce and StoreConnect instantly synchronizing customer data to keep orders, promotions and stock levels up to date, Lindsaar stated. In addition, he noted, available integrations extend beyond Salesforce to many leading payment gateways, ERP platforms, and software programs, which improves accuracy by removing the need for manual data cross-entry.
Lindsaar went on to say that StoreConnect works exclusively through its partner network, with partners managing sales, installations, maintenance and ongoing support. "Salesforce Consulting Partners and Specialist Partners are flocking to StoreConnect to deliver an ecommerce 3.0 system to their customers," he said, adding that the platform's ease of use and numerous benefits makes it a popular choice for partners and their merchants. Lindsaar also emphasized that StoreConnect installations are easy because the platform uses standard objects wherever possible, which enables merchants to leverage existing contacts, products, price books and other information when activating their ecommerce 360 environments.
