Delight merchants and customers with pay-by-fingertip

Product: OVE Touch & Go
Company: Green Payments

Green Payments, a credit card and POS solutions provider, partnered with OVE Touch & Go on a novel fingerprint payment system designed to simplify and accelerate digital transactions. The unique POS solution allows customers to pay with fingertips and businesses to accept fingertip payments, the companies stated.

Cliff Green, CEO of Green Payments and advisory board member of OVE Touch & Go, described the solution as a game-changer in evolving digital payments. "Businesses and customers spend far too much time and money verifying a swipe or contesting fraudulent claims," he said. "As digital payment methods continue to evolve, a partnership with OVE is a natural progression in expanding our technological solutions."

Caio Buchalla, CEO of OVE Touch & Go, also expects biometrics to play a greater role in digital payments, pointing out that fingerprints can't be lost, forgotten or stolen, and don't depend on batteries. "We're excited to partner with [Green Payments] to bring our fingerprint technology to their merchants and continue disrupting the rapidly developing digital payments industry together," he said.

Patented biometric technology

Green also noted that Green Payments utilizes emergent technologies like OVE's fingerprint authentication system to further customize secure, touchless payment options for merchants and customers alike. The user-friendly solution means customers can leave wallets at home and phones in their pockets, he said, pointing out that in addition to marking the end of fumbling for phones, smartwatches, credit cards or cash, the biometric payment processing hardware is easy to install.

Buchalla noted OVE uses patented sensors to charge customers through customized fingerprint sensors associated with a secure digital wallet on OVE's mobile app. OVE app users can selectively link bank account, credit card and cryptocurrency accounts to specific fingers and checkout on OVE sensors linked to payment and POS systems. OVE merchants have found fingerprint payments are generally simpler and more efficient than facial scanning on smartphones or payments on smartwatches, Buchalla observed. In fact, he stated, OVE Sensors reduce payment fraud and liability and minimize refunds and chargeback fees.

Enhanced support, efficiency, savings

Green Payments provides transparency and best-in-class support to partners and merchants, company representatives stated, adding that customer service is available 24/7/365. The company's commitment to continuous process improvement ensures prompt resolutions and upgrades for retailers who need it most, they noted.

Through fingerprint validation, customers and merchants alike will minimize time-consuming and costly discussions over payment validation in lieu of a seamless, private, quick and secure one-touch transaction, representatives noted, pointing out that time saved for each party will inevitably result in an easier purchasing experience for all involved.

Green Payments is committed to reducing related costs of payment card processing through customized programs and advanced technologies, Green said, adding that since its inception in 2019, the company has helped nearly 5,000 businesses build financial stability, generating more than $1 billion annually in consumer payments. Additionally, he noted, Green Payments has helped all types of companies, from startups to Fortune 500s, accept payments, boost customer loyalty and manage their businesses online.

Sales channel partnerships, certified experts

Green Payments actively partners with payments acquirers, ISOs, ISVs and merchant level salespeople on revenue-generating programs designed to improve both the merchant and customer experience, Green stated. By adding OVE Touch N' Go to their toolkits and service offerings, partners enable merchants to save time and money, he added.

"Our team is made up of industry leading certified payments professionals," Green said. "The ETA CPP program sets the standard for professional performance in the payments industry and is a symbol of excellence. It signifies that an individual has demonstrated the knowledge and skills required to perform competently in today's complex electronic payments environment." end of article
