Product: Payment HSM as a Service
MYHSM recently introduced Payment Hardware Secure Module (HSM) as a Service to enhance its suite of managed services for protecting cardholder data and transactions. The company's PCI-certified solutions are designed to help financial institution and fintech subscribers reduce operational costs and challenges associated with operating on-premise HSMs, according to company representatives.
Powered by Thales payShield, a globally deployed payment HSM, MYHSM enables subscribers to minimize investments in hardware; hardware management; secure infrastructures; and ongoing PCI compliance, audit and support, noted John Cragg, CEO at MYHSM.
"We've leveraged the trend toward cloud services to become the first global company to offer such a hosted service using Thales payShield HSMs in world-class data centers," Cragg said.
"The payShield Payment HSM security solution delivers high assurance protection for ATMs and POS credit and debit payment transactions."
Cragg further noted that today's hyper-competitive and rapidly evolving payments ecosystem requires advanced, up-to-date, PCI-compliant systems to securely handle transactions.
Managed HSM services enable subscribers to stay competitive, improve response times and maintain compliance. In addition to worldwide access and enhanced security to maintain secure systems and keep up with PCIDSS and PCI PIN requirements, he cited the following benefits of MYHSM's suite of solutions:
MYHSM's solutions suite serves a wide spectrum of customers, including merchant acquirers, payment service providers, payment facilitators and issuers, Cragg stated. The solutions enable stakeholders to simplify operations, remove capital infrastructure constraints and reduce the need for highly skilled resources.
These capabilities free MYHSM users to focus on high-value activities, such as improving their customers' digital payment experience, he added.
