Mobile ACH, check deposit services
DCS Holdings Group LLC, doing business as ACHeck21, launched A√21Mobile in partnership with A2iA. A√21Mobile is a software development platform and open application programming interface (API) designed to simplify mobile payments and deposits made via automated clearing house (ACH) and check. The service combines A2iA's expertise in image analysis, data capture and document processing with ACHeck21's gateway and cloud service capabilities, company representatives stated.
Sam Ackley, Chief Executive Officer at ACHeck21, noted that the customizable solution can readily adapt to fintech companies and mobile application developers and their unique requirements. "It offers a complete service that will support all ACH entry classes, mobile deposit, fraud detection, verification, and with A2iA technology, developers can incorporate document capture," he said.
Single, hosted work flow
The service includes a white-label, REST-based API, mobile software development kit (SDK) and free sandbox development account. ACHeck21 stated that users can combine standard and ancillary check and ACH services into a single hosted workflow, including the following products and services:
- White-label check and ACH processing
- Identity verification
- Fraud detection
- Mobile, stand-alone ACH deposits (without check image)
- Mobile physical, electronic check deposits
- Check optical character recognition (OCR)
- Same-day deposits
- Velocity and dollar controls
- Email alerts and services
- Enhanced reporting
- Free API and mobile SDK access
- Automated workflows
- Direct integration with banks and processors
The open standard API is compatible with iOS, Android and Windows environments and can help developers automate work flows and documentation. The mobile app can be used in conjunction with the ACH21Payment Gateway and configurable management console, according to ACHeck21.
The mobile SDK, backed by the ACH/Check21 processing platform, is the newest addition to the ACHeck21 software suite. A√21Mobile is designed to improve security and efficiencies while reducing costs related to processing ACH, checks and electronic documents online and at the POS, company representatives stated. It works on all connected devices, including smartphones, tablets, laptops, desktops and scanners.
A√21Mobile also uses A2iA's advanced image analysis and OCR of handwritten, machine-printed and digital documents to verify ACH entry classes and Check21 remote deposit capture transactions within ACHeck21's intelligent, private financial cloud. The service can detect duplicates and fraudulent checks, verify funds and authenticate users on images captured on scanners and smartphone cameras.
In addition to combining ancillary services and features into a single hosted workflow, A√21Mobile can process multiple forms of electronic payments, including electronic checks and image cash letters. Its open API can simplify integration into a variety of front-end transaction systems used by financial institutions and third-party processors, the companies noted.
Designed to be both turnkey and fast-to-market, A√21Mobile is adaptable and continually updated in response to ever-changing payments industry regulations, trends and security guidelines. There are no upfront costs to implement the solution, ACHeck21 said.
"We are very pleased to offer cutting-edge tools for the fintech community," Ackley stated. "By using our knowledge of technology, experience in the industry, award winning workflow automation and strong alliances with partners like A2iA, MicroBilt, SnapCheck and others, we are able to bring to the market an advanced ACH and check service that truly allows our fintech customers to achieve their dreams faster, at lower costs, with a tool bag full of options."
