Payment Fusion, Ingenico team to streamline EMV certification

Santa Barbara, Calif., March 31, 2015 -- Payment Fusion, a cloud-based provider of payment integration services and Ingenico Group, the global leader in seamless payment, announced that they are working together to streamline the process of integrating to EMV certified payment terminals.

Many software providers are currently struggling with EMV/Chip and PIN integration and certification. Together, Payment Fusion and Ingenico Group are making that effort significantly easier with an approach called semi-integrated – sensitive card data never enters the POS, but is instead handled by Ingenico Group terminals, which are already EMV and PCI certified. Payment Fusion handles all of the integration, and doesn’t require any software to be installed on the POS device, which is a big benefit to customers.

This powerful payment processing and secure hardware solution can be effectively leveraged by Payment Fusion’s network of independent software vendors (ISVs) and value added resellers. Developers now have a resource for an easy, seamless EMV payment integration to prepare for the October 2015 fraud liability shift deadline. Also, developers can use the combined solution and Ingenico Group’s payment devices to enhance their product offerings with a payment application for card-present merchants – something that all card-present businesses need.
