Scale faster, smarter with end-to-end field management

Product: Workiz
Company: Workiz

Workiz, an all-in-one software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform for home service businesses, enhanced its dedicated business management platform with tools designed to help businesses track jobs, manage schedules, accept payments and more, the company stated. Workiz noted the platform serves numerous field service sectors, including locksmith, junk removal, carpet cleaning, garage door and appliance repair industries.

Adi (Didi) Azaria, CEO at Workiz, mentioned he has seen a sharp uptick in field service calls, which heightens the need for smart digital business management tools that workers can easily access from an office or job site. "Workiz' rapid growth over the past two years demonstrates a clear market need for our platform, and we are motivated by providing  our customers with an industry-defining product that helps them make their respective businesses stronger," he said.

All-in-one business management

Azaria noted the Workiz platform's automated features enable managers to set and forget back-office tasks. Automated reminders alert clients when invoices are coming due and review requests help users gain positive client reviews to improve their business reputations, he added.

Marcus Clapman, director of channel partners at Workiz, described Workiz as a cloud-based solution for managing every aspect of business 24/7, in the office and the field. "Users can use the platform to track and monitor every job and manage all communications between technicians, dispatchers and clients," he said, adding that with Workiz, paper invoices, sticky notes and spreadsheets are a thing of the past for home service professionals who are free to focus on more important business priorities.

Clapman further noted that Workiz was designed to make business easier for home service professionals. In today's on-demand economy, he added, home service providers deserve to have a dedicated business management platform.

Customize, manage, automate

Unlike similar business management solutions in the home service space, Workiz is a truly all-in-one platform that brings together a range of telecommunications options to make it easier for business owners to communicate with their homeowner customers whether they are in the office or on a job site, Clapman stated. Designed to optimize efficiencies, the platform directly connects purchase leads to CRM systems to improve tracking capabilities and also has the ability to generate local financial reports, Clapman stated. In addition, built-in scheduling tools enable users to program automatic reminders to customers, he said, citing the following features and benefits:

  • Customize workflows: Workiz users can create their own job forms, documents, reports and automated reminders on the platform.
  • Manage business communication: Workiz users can enhance the customer experience with call recording, call masking, call flows and ad tracking on the platform.
  • Automate business processes: Workiz users can manage reviews, notifications, reminders and follow ups on the platform.

Workiz is used by more than 100,000 business professionals throughout the United States and Canada and processes billions of dollars in transactions, millions of incoming and outgoing calls, and serves over 17 million end users, Clapman stated.

Merchant, channel partner benefits

Workiz is also processor-agnostic, Clapman pointed out, which means merchants can remain with their processors. He also noted that Workiz manages customer onboarding and support, and provides ISOs and merchant level salespeople (MLSs) a large upfront commission and 30-month SaaS residual split for merchant customers in good standing. Clapman said ISOs and MLS partners increase monthly revenue with zero financial exposure. Workiz partners can create brochures and track leads, referrals and residuals on a dedicated ISO portal, where they can find email templates, slide decks and brochures.

Chapman advised ISOs and MLSs considering different industry verticals to focus on businesses that send technicians to customer sites, which may include HVAC, garage door companies, electricians, plumbers, locksmiths, handymen, appliance repair service providers and junk removal companies. These businesses need to track calls, schedule appointments, estimate jobs, accept payments and manage billing, he said. end of article
