Online value-add for merchant portfolios

Product: Real Local Pages ISO program

Established in 2005 as an online business directory, Real Local Pages reported it has since become a global enterprise with over 25 million business listings reaching more than 10 million consumers annually in about a half dozen nations.

The online program delivers one-click access to relevant, local information on three Yellow Pages websites designed to help consumers connect with and purchase from local merchants.

What makes the service unique is that its suite of value-added, online marketing and promotional services was specifically designed to cater to small businesses, Real Local Pages noted.

As part of that strategy, the company introduced an ISO program intended to reach a broader spectrum of merchant businesses, while enabling ISOs to generate new revenue by bundling it with their existing merchant service packages.

"The suite includes localized online advertising on, and; mini website development with search engine optimization (SEO); search engine submissions (SES) to Google, Yahoo and Bing; social media profile development on Facebook and YouTube with monthly updates; and a merchant dashboard for online marketing and promotional activity effectiveness tracking," the company stated.

According to Real Local Pages, the purpose behind the SEO and mini website presence is to establish online ranking for merchants within major search engines.

"We submit your website to all of the major search engines to increase your website ranking and customer traffic," the company said. "We link your video or commercial to YouTube and bring your business to life."

The company also provides content for its five-page, mini-websites. Included is information about the merchant's business, hours of operation, address, product and service descriptions, logo, graphics, and video, if applicable. The online dashboard offers complete details for tracking and monitoring customer traffic to merchant businesses.

Real Local Pages noted that the ISO program offers unique advantages: merchant pricing is suggested, but agents can set their own pricing; ISOs can earn a one-time upfront bonus in addition to monthly residual income from existing merchant portfolios for as long as merchants opt into the program; and the company extends a 30-day free trial period to any merchant who signs on to use the service.
