Enable installments anywhere with Splitit Go

Splitit introduced Splitit Go™, a mobile solution designed to bring card-linked installment payments into face-to-face sales environments, extending flexibility beyond e-commerce into the broader services economy.

Installments have become a standard feature of online checkout, but many high-value purchases—particularly in industries such as home services, healthcare and automotive repair—still take place in person. I

n these settings, affordability concerns can slow decision-making or derail sales altogether. Splitit Go is built to address that gap by enabling merchants to present installment options at the moment a purchase decision is being made.

Unlike traditional buy now, pay later offerings, Splitit Go does not require new credit applications or underwriting.

Instead, it allows customers to use the available credit on their existing credit cards.

There is no additional loan, no separate approval process and no need to redirect customers to third-party platforms, preserving both the merchant’s workflow and the customer’s relationship with their card issuer, Splitit noted.

With Splitit Go, merchants can generate installment plans in seconds using a smartphone, tablet or laptop, the company pointed out.

Customers receive the offer via QR code, text or email, review the terms on their own device and complete the transaction using their preferred credit card. The process allows customers to continue earning card rewards while spreading payments over time.

Beyond its mobile capabilities, Splitit Go also functions as an embedded infrastructure layer. Through a single API, businesses can integrate installment functionality directly into existing systems, including checkout pages, CRM platforms, field service tools and project management software.

This approach, the company stated, allows merchants to add installment options without overhauling their current payment environments.

The solution targets a wide range of sectors where in-person sales dominate, including contractors, medical and dental providers, specialty retailers, and professional services firms.

Together, these industries represent trillions of dollars in annual U.S. spending, much of it occurring outside traditional digital checkout flows, Splitit has found.

By extending card-linked installments into physical and consultative sales settings, Splitit Go aims to help merchants close more transactions while offering customers a familiar, flexible way to pay. Learn more at https://Splitit.com. End of Story
