EPS (Electronic Payment
Services, the holding company for BUYPASS Corporation) recently
acquired Transaction Network Services' ATM terminal driving business.
The acquisition adds 3,000 dial-up ATMs to EPS's base of
37,500.
More than 60% of the
ATMs deployed by TNS clients are in petroleum and convenience stores.
Richard Garman, president and CEO of EPS said, "The fact that TNS's
terminal driving is largely in retail environments is a good fit with
our focus on such merchant ATM deployments over the past two
years."
