WorldCheck Has New Owners
WorldCheck, Inc., one of the nation's oldest check guarantee
companies was purchased on September 1, 1996, by an investment group
headed by Florida Attorney, Michael S. Davis. Jack Stone, the
Executive Vice President, was retained to run the day-to-day
operations of the company.
One of the former owners, Jack I. Ketay, sold all of his interest
in the company for an undisclosed amount and has become a Bankcard
ISO in North Miami Beach operating under the name of Chargenet.
We are unable to report any changes in the direction of WorldCheck
as a result of the sale, although we are aware that the company
continues to offer Check Guarantee and Bankcard services, and to
utilize the service of ISOs throughout the United States.
