Just In Time For Christmas?

 

Markwell Communications has begun promoting its Markwell Audience Profile (MAP) customer psychological profile survey to catalog companies that use sophisticated database marketing.

 

 

By asking 25 psychological questions that address variations in our responses as individuals, MAP is able to produce a custom portrait of the common behavioral links that customers who buy a particular product share. For example, Markwell's research shows that Nike owners are "aggressive" while Reebok owners are "spiritual."

 

According to DM News, MAP is based on the notion that there are six basic styles of communication, four basic lifestyles, 12 life stages, and 15 drives that all people have to varying degrees, and I guess...three humming birds, and a partridge in a pear tree.
