Checkmate Corp., and ICL, a global IT services company (see issue
99:10:01) have agreed that ICL will offer IVI Checkmate’s eN-Touch 1000
customer-interactive touch-screen/signature pad terminal to the North
American retail market with ICL’s in-store solutions.
ICL’s
Retail Systems Division, based in Dallas, Texas, will develop a standard
integration interface for the eN-Touch 1000 into their GlobalSTORE
product. ICL already provides retailers with IVI’s eN-Check 430 and eN-Crypt
2400 customer-activated credit/debit terminal.
ICL’s
retail systems division creates IT solutions and services including Global
STORE (scalable, open retail systems), InteractiveRETAILING (anywhere,
anytime shopping applications and Web-based technologies) and Corema
(customer-focused marketing efforts such as loyalty and customer
segmentation programs).
