New happenings at The Green Sheet

As technology marches forward, so does The Green Sheet. Always endeavoring to provide maximum benefit for our readers and advertisers, we are constantly exploring the opportunities new technologies present as they arise.

Many of you have noticed our website's new look. We revamped the site to provide our audience with a streamlined design and an easier navigation system. The changes will help the growing number of dedicated smart phone users to access The Green Sheet online wherever they are.

Another noteworthy tool we are using is Alexa, which is a top provider of free, global web metrics. According to Alexa, The Green Sheet website is in the top quarter of the top 1 percent of all websites globally (171,148 out of 649,072,682). This ranking, which is based on a combination of page views and daily visitors, confirms that we are continuing to provide payment professionals with essential information. It also gives our advertisers confidence that they are reaching a very active market.

We also now offer a "flipbook" version of our publication, which allows our online readers to easily view the magazine in its native layout and to "turn" pages with a click of the mouse. This innovative format also offers new opportunities for our advertisers. Beginning with issue 13:05:02 (mailing out May 27, 2013), all display ads will have the option to appear in full color in our flipbook in addition to appearing in grayscale in our print edition. We are discovering new applications for this versatile tool and will have more innovative opportunities to offer soon. If you haven't yet seen our flipbook, check it out by clicking our magazine's cover icon at www.greensheet.com.

Also in the works is the addition of videos to our site. Readers will soon be able to view educational videos from industry leaders and associations. As always, our mission is to provide information to educate and aid in the success of all ISOs and merchant level salespeople.
