Boost profits with seamless restaurant management

Product: TableTurn Restaurant Management Platform
Company: Electronic Payments Inc.

Electronic Payments, a payment processing and POS solutions provider, enhanced TableTurn, a POS and business management platform designed to help restaurants increase table-turn, improve efficiencies and deliver an excellent customer experience. New features include EMV processing with traditional tip adjustments and a pay-at-table feature that can be integrated with a range of market-leading integrated POS systems, the company stated.

Michael Nardy, CEO of Electronic Payments, said TableTurn was developed with restaurateurs in mind. "It's focused on enhancing customer experience, increasing operational efficiency, and streamlining payments, to name just a few key benefits," he said.

Keith Ashcraft, director of business development at Electronic Payments, added, "TableTurn solves for EMV and NFC tip adjustments and brings many more enhancements to restaurant POS."

Fixed, mobile hardware options

TableTurn software works in fixed, mobile and integrated configurations, Nardy noted. A free countertop POS can be deployed in a standalone terminal or as part of an integrated POS system. A free wireless handheld device facilitates tableside ordering and pay-at-table checkout, and all configurations are backed by 24/7 in-house technical support and customer service, he stated.

Tableside ordering and pay-at-table capabilities reduce server trips to POS stations, saving time while delivering an enjoyable customer experience. Pay-at-table also improves security by keeping customers' credit cards within their sight at all times. Diners can choose to receive electronic receipts via email or text or print paper receipts at the table using the handheld device's built-in printer. Guests can also take a short survey offered at the end of checkout to rate their service and communicate with restaurant managers, according to company representatives.

Following are additional TableTurn features and benefits:

  • Easy integrations: TableTurn POS devices are compatible with a range of market-leading integrated POS systems, including Oracle Hospitality, NCR, Aloha, and Exatouch Point of Sale.
  • Flexible interface: Tip adjustments can be made by servers at shift closings or by customers at checkout. The interface also facilitates split checks and multiple tender types.
  • Simplified tasks: Increased customer input can minimize double entry errors, speeding server reconciliations and shift closings.
  • Reduced wait times: Tableside ordering and pay-at-table checkout can reduce server trips and consumer wait times.
  • Reduced chargebacks and fraud: Digital billfolds enable guests to pay when they are ready while keeping credit cards safely within sight, reducing potential for chargebacks and fraud.
  • Data analytics: Advanced analytics provide valuable inventory metrics and customer insights.
  • Free gift card processing: Free gift card processing through eGiftSolutions, Electronic Payments' proprietary gift card platform, can help build brand value.

Nardy added that TableTurn's exclusive features and affordable payment processing enable restaurants of all types and sizes to leverage the platform, which has been shown to accelerate customer checkouts, server shift closings and other common restaurant functions. The solution supports all payment types, he noted, including EMV (chip cards) and NFC (contactless), which means faster table turns, improved service, and enhanced security. end of article
