Transaction Network Services Inc., a global data communications and interoperability solutions provider, updated TNSPay Mobile, a subscription service designed to simplify mobile POS estate management. The turnkey solution provides ISOs, processors and acquirers with the flexibility and control they need to manage large fleets of wireless POS terminal portfolios, company representatives stated.
"Of the millions of devices TNS powers around the world, the vast majority use wireless as a primary connection," said Brian DuCharme, vice president, global payment products and solutions at TNS. TNSPay Mobile is part of the company's suite of wireless solutions. Global acquirers use the PCI DSS-certified platform to provision and deploy secure SIM cards for specific mPOS devices. The platform simplifies ordering, deployment and activation, while automatically connecting devices to the best available wireless networks in their regions, DuCharme added.
In addition to being reliable and secure, TNSPay Mobile requires no up-front investment in infrastructure or support staff, DuCharme stated. The platform leverages the high-performing, redundant TNS network, which securely connects medium and large enterprises and service providers worldwide. The PCI DSS-certified TNSPay Mobile processing environment ensures high-speed, secure transaction delivery, he noted, and cited the following additional features:
He also pointed out that carrier and processor connectivity and web-based tools for activation – all provided by a single partner – and TNS' redundant, high-performing PCI-compliant network ease management and reporting while optimizing connectivity to enhance security and reliability.

TNSPay Mobile enables processors, acquirers and ISOs to make wireless access an integral part of their solution suites, which means their merchant customers no longer have to purchase it separately, DuCharme stated, which helps them grow and scale their merchant portfolios.
DuCharme further noted that the solution simplifies all aspects of wireless deployments, enabling users to offer merchants the benefits of wireless speed and portability. He also pointed out that the solution delivers end-to-end wireless POS management, so participating ISOs, processors and acquirers do not have to establish separate relationships with wireless carriers or support multiple networks, message formats or PCI certifications.
