Grow and scale with cross-border omnichannel platform

Nuvei Corp., a Canadian fintech, enhanced its omnichannel payments solution for merchants and platforms, including customers operating outside North America. The solution is designed to improve customer payments experiences, according to Philip Fayer, chair and CEO of Nuvei.

"A unified approach to payments across channels is increasingly critical for businesses to meet customer expectations, optimize revenues, and accelerate growth," he said. Fayer positioned the newly enhanced solution as part of a companywide effort to drive next-generation payments acceptance, payout options, card issuing, banking, and risk and fraud management services globally. The proprietary, flexible solution can enhance payment offerings across a variety of use cases from consumer retail, restaurant and hospitality to travel and iGaming, he noted, adding that in all cases, the technology will drive engagement and convenience by supporting all types of payment methods at checkout.

Multiple uses, single integration

Nuvei's unified commerce omnichannel solution for card-present (CP) and card-not-present (CNP) transactions enables merchants to deliver an uninterrupted shopping experience across stores, mobile applications and online, the company stated, noting that these capabilities are accessible through a single integration.

Additional features of unified commerce include the ability to buy or add products to checkout baskets through one channel and amend purchases or request refunds through another. The platform also enables businesses to run separate pricing, loyalty and incentive programs on virtual and physical channels, according to Nuvei representatives. Nuvei's platform features a single view of comprehensive reporting analytics and insights for both CP and CNP transactions, devised to equip businesses with the data required to make the smarter, more informed decisions required to optimize their payments function holistically. Other streamlined operations through a common API optimize payments further, including a single consistent developer experience and centralizing payment processing across channels through tokenizing transactions, the company added.

Flexible, frictionless processing

Nuvei's solutions are available through the company's in-house, semi-integrated cloud platform and on Verifone Android terminals, as well as through a range of certified POS devices. The company's in-house solutions leverage the latest hardware technology and are fully customizable, enabling businesses to customize and tailor value-added applications to their unique needs, Nuvei stated.

Nuvei further noted that in addition to accessing each element of its full-stack payments technology through the same single integration for multiple geographies, Nuvei's global reach, combined with local acquiring capabilities in 50 countries and connectivity to 680 alternative online payment methods, will help businesses expand into new markets by scaling omnichannel payments internationally while backed by knowledgeable global support specialists with expertise in global markets, large-scale deployments, software development and technology integrations.

Fayer mentioned that knowledgeable partners can help firms expand their global footprints and reach customers on every channel and region. "As businesses expand into new markets, they are increasingly looking to partner with payments providers that can remove complexity while still offering the agility and insights to optimize growth," he said.
