Valor PayTech launched Valor Pay, a solution designed to enhance merchant account boarding and servicing. The cloud-based solution, which includes a virtual terminal, gateway and portal, enables ISOs and merchant level salespeople (MLSs) to set up and support merchants remotely and efficiently, stated Valor PayTech vice president of sales Gene Schenberg, CPP. "Our nimble ISO management platform dramatically reduces an ISO's total cost of ownership," Schenberg said. "Of equal significance, our processor agnostic solutions, like cash discounting and e-invoicing, create new opportunities for ISOs and merchant level sales reps to build their portfolios and residual streams."
Amanda Dixon, senior sales executive at Valor PayTech, agreed, stating that merchants also appreciate the platform's value-added features. "Valor Pay's robust cash discounting solution includes cash discounting on tips, which makes it an easier and a more practical sale for restaurants looking to slash the high and variable cost of card acceptance," she said. "It also features dual-MID support and smart routing for customers not willing to pay non-cash charges."
Schenberg further noted that Valor PayTech is processor agnostic and includes a range of customizable omnichannel solutions. In addition to speeding up remote account set-ups and support, the platform offers a range of choice in countertop, mobile and e-terminals and mobile card reader peripherals that provide a full digital experience to merchants and their customers. ValorPay virtual terminals support multiple MIDs and simplify functions such as splitting tabs and tip adjustments. The virtual terminals' display screens offer our different tipping options, which merchants can customize by using the Valor Merchant Portal.
Schenberg mentioned that merchants can also use the secure online portal to add a cash discount or surcharge percentage to Pay at Table tips. He added that an e-invoicing feature includes enables merchants to auto-fill recurring customers' payment information and send SMS payment links to customers in support of easy and convenient touchless payments.

ValorPay's smart tools and intuitive user interface enable ISOs and merchant level salespeople to manage their merchant accounts from anywhere, Schenberg explained. Participants can use EnsureBill to update lost or replaced cards and securely store card-on-file for subscription billing. The solution will automatically build a customer database and store receipts and signatures for up to two years to enable merchants to react quickly to inquiries and mitigate chargebacks.
ValorPay cloud-based merchant portal and Android and iOS mobile apps support access to accounts from anywhere and facilitate batch settlement, void, refund and sale transactions, the company stated. Shopping cart integrations to popular platforms such as WooCommerce and OpenCart are also available. The platform will automatically transition between dial-up, ethernet, Wi-Fi and GPRS, to ensure strong terminal connections at all times. Additional digital features, such as a built-in customer survey module, provide merchants with real-time opportunities to improve service and reward customers and employees. SMS text and email receipts enable merchants to market their businesses or sell advertising space on the digital receipts that their customers receive.
Merchants can protect profit margins and customer relationships by advertising their websites on digital receipts, eliminating the need to use expensive third-party food delivery services that store customer data. They can also customize SMS marketing for VIP customers or reach out to customers who had a negative experience, the company noted.
