End-to-end POS, store management for retailers

Harbortouch, a national POS systems and merchant services provider, has launched Harbortouch Checkout, a solution that combines payment acceptance with a full set of business management functions. POS hardware, software bundle

  • Elite 3 POS System: The POS bundle includes a POS terminal with widescreen customer display and intuitive tablet interface, a 2-D barcode scanner, cash drawer, receipt printer, keyboard, and optional digital scale.
  • EMV (Europay, Mastercard and Visa) PIN pad: The payment card reading peripheral supports contact and contactless EMV cards and mobile wallets.

  • Customer management: Merchants can peruse customer buying histories to identify and reward frequent customers. A customer database provides email addresses and phone numbers for targeted marketing campaigns.
  • Employee management: Merchants can manage employee databases and monitor transactions for each employee.
  • Employee shift scheduling: Merchants can schedule employee shifts and track hours worked using the system's built-in time clock.
  • Flexible discounting: Merchants can schedule and automate discounts to occur on specified dates and times.
