Product: Residualfy

Massachusetts-based Residualfy Inc., established in 2011, has developed secure, cloud-based software that enables restaurants to brand and customize online menu ordering systems. Unlike generic ecommerce ordering systems, Residualfy is a simplified, updatable platform that restaurateurs can use to promote their own brands while staying current with ever-changing hospitality trends.

The software platform facilitates real-time online ordering on restaurant websites and Facebook pages. Diners can visit the site to review menu options and place orders on laptops, tablets, smart phones and other mobile devices. Restaurants can use the technology to offer dine-in, take-out, delivery or a combination of dining options. Customers can pay for orders with cash, credit or debit cards.

Affordable, simplified, processor-agnostic

Residualfy works with all merchant acquirers, allowing licensee partners to choose their preferred platform and keep 100 percent of processing revenue. For a small set-up charge and monthly fee, restaurateurs of all sizes can use the Residualfy platform for a fraction of the cost of most online ordering technologies. Studies have shown that online food ordering can increase overall sales, order accuracy and price-per-order by as much as 15 to 25 percent. Additionally, online interactive menus will prompt diners with additional menu options that may be overlooked by busy restaurant workers taking incoming orders.

The simplified user interface and cloud-based platform requires no installation, manual updates, or database management. Restaurant owners can use the software for real-time customer analytics and menu management. Residualfy partners and resellers can help restaurant clients select menu items, photographs and branding to incorporate into their customized online menus.

Broadly compatible

Residualfy's cloud-based platform is compatible with many popular integrated POS systems, including Clover, Casio,, and Star Micronics, with more hardware integrations on the company's roadmap. Partners can incorporate value-added services such as gift and loyalty into the open source software platform. The company's software developers work directly with channel partners; many have become integral extensions of partner and reseller development teams.
