Product: Connect

Denver-based EVO Snap, the integrated payments division of EVO Payments International LLC, launched Connect, a marketing service platform designed to help omni-channel merchants attract new customers, as well as increase both the shopping frequency and spend from existing customers. According to EVO, the platform allows merchants to link customer data with payment and marketing services to create customized loyalty programs, card-linked offers and real-time rewards at the POS.

"Today's retailers must look for ways to better understand their customers, consumer behavior and leverage innovation to drive customer engagement and loyalty," said Peter Osberg, Senior Vice President of EVO Snap.

But for most retailers, applying customer data effectively remains a challenge. With Connect, retailers are able to deliver personalized shopping experiences to each customer with options ranging from merchant-funded incentives to surprise offers rewarded at the time of purchase.

Protecting merchant profit margins is another benefit with this system. "Connect delivers real-time business intelligence to retailers by linking payment, marketing and consumer data to help merchants avoid unnecessary discounting and deliver targeted offers that drive customer engagement and loyalty, resulting in greater wallet share to the retailer," Osberg said.

Additional benefits of the Connect platform include:

Connect is fronted by developer-friendly application programming interfaces (APIs). Thus, it can work in concert with other value-chain players in loyalty, analytics and POS solutions as EVO Snap continues to build out the omni-channel marketing and consumer analytics platform.

EVO Snap's stated mission is to simplify in-store, online and mobile payments for software developers, and end-user merchants and consumers. "EVO Snap is a one-stop shop for application integration, merchant underwriting and payment processing," the company stated. "EVO Snap offers single-integration access to omni-channel payment processing through one API and can instantly decision, board and activate merchants."
