Bring innovation to merchants with smarter, simpler devices

Ingenico introduced a next-generation payment device family and a unified cloud platform designed to help merchants, banks and acquirers manage payment infrastructure more efficiently while supporting new digital payment services.

Ingenico's new AXIUM payment device family pairs with Ingenico 360, a cloud-based platform that integrates device management, transaction services, analytics and merchant tools into a single architecture. Together, the technologies provide enterprises with a modern foundation for deploying and managing payment devices while accelerating the rollout of new services globally, Ingenico noted.

Unified architecture across payment environments

The AXIUM device family is built on a common architecture that spans multiple payment environments, including mobile, countertop, multilane, self-service, PIN pad and SoftPOS. All devices run on Android 14 and are certified to PCI PTS v7, enabling consistent security and compliance standards across deployments.

The unified device architecture helps to streamline certification and lifecycle management, as well as support for future Android upgrades. The devices are also designed to support emerging payment capabilities such as digital identity verification, stablecoin acceptance, loyalty integration and digital receipts. A redesigned user interface includes secondary displays, LED guidance, haptic feedback and audio cues intended to improve customer interactions.

"The excitement around our next-gen AXIUM range, especially the flagship DX8, shows how strongly customers value devices that combine great design with true enterprise strength," said Ingenico CEO Floris de Kort.

Cloud platform centralizes payment operations

The Ingenico 360 platform combines device management, POS connectivity, application services, analytics and developer tools, and provides a cloud-native environment devised for managing payment operations at scale. Organizations can monitor devices in real time, analyze performance data and manage distributed payment estates remotely to improve uptime through proactive issue detection and faster resolution.

In addition, Ingenico noted that the platform's modular design allows organizations to adopt services gradually and expand functionality over time without redesigning existing payment environments. Ingenico 360 is live across Europe, the Americas and the Asia-Pacific region and supports the company's installed base of tens of millions of payment devices worldwide.
