New Products

Expand reach with secure, fast, agile cross-border payments

Product: EBANX Product Series
Company: EBANX

EBANX, a global technology company specializing in payments for rising markets, enhanced its payments platform to simplify the global payments experience in 29 countries in Latin America, the Caribbean, Africa, and Asia, where EBANX operates. The platform can help channel partners reach more customers across emerging regions and globally by delivering premier, high-performing payments services, the company stated.

Fabio Scopeta, chief product and technology officer of EBANX, noted that the new features reflect the company's continual adaptation to the markets it serves. "EBANX is driven by the challenge of maximizing the market potential in the regions where we operate and by the commitment to offer quality products, ensuring that our merchants can provide the best possible service to their customers," he said. Advanced fraud protection EBANX's multilayered anti-fraud solution considers local behavior and buyers' financial identities in specific countries and verticals. Protection layers include initial analysis, anti-fraud machine, and smart retry, according to Juliana Borges de Campos, global director of payment operations at EBANX. "There is no one-size-fits-all fraud and risk solution for all Latin America, all Africa or all Asia," she said. "In the same way, there is not just one for all verticals. You need to consider consumer behavior, the fraudsters' modus operandi, the evolution of the payment methods and financial operations throughout history, and how they apply to different industries and different ticket values in each one of the countries across these regions."

Fraud is ever-evolving, de Campos added, affirming that EBANX works with local experts to keep up with emerging trends and translate constant evolution into better payment performance for merchants. EBANX's fraud and risk management offers real-time transaction scoring, chargeback automation, A/B testing and other tailor-made enhancements, she said.

Optimized B2B payments

Scopeta mentioned that enhanced pay-in and payout solutions, available in 25 markets, enable companies to receive payments from customers and make payments to respective partners and collaborators in any amount and in local currency. "This not only simplifies the process but also removes barriers for companies wishing to expand in international markets, allowing them to offer payments on a truly global level," he said, adding that merchants can process large transactions and manage payments and receivables efficiently on the same platform.

The invoice solution creates interoperability between real-time payment systems, reducing required intermediaries. In addition, receivables can be managed within the EBANX Dashboard. The platform facilitates invoice payments in local currency and customers' preferred payment methods, including bank transfers and e-wallets.

The High-Value Tickets solution enables merchants to process transactions up to US $100,000 in Mexico, Colombia, Peru, Chile, Argentina, Nigeria and Brazil. This reduces intermediary costs, Scopeta added, while delivering an automated, customized, and transparent billing system on a checkout page.

Efficient card processing

The EBANX Product Series includes a set of card optimization tools designed to balance approval rates and chargeback levels, the company stated. Features include 3D Secure (3DS), network tokenization, pre-authorization, multiple partial refunds, card verification, and smart routing, all meeting compliance and regulatory requirements for each market. BIN-specific data ensures high authorization rates, enhanced security and fast processing times, EBANX representatives stated.

The growing company confirmed it continues to expand, most recently by adding operations in the Caribbean, Ivory Coast, Egypt, Ghana, Morocco, Senegal, Tanzania, Uganda and Zambia to its fintech portfolio. In addition, EBANX noted it recently launched payment processing in India, connecting global merchants to the Unified Payments Interface (UPI), India's local, real-time payments system. The company also pointed out that this milestone enables EBANX to further extend reach by connecting its growing base of over 1,600 merchants to more than a billion digital buyers in fast-growing Latin American, Caribbean, African, and Asian digital markets. end of article
