Ingenico secures €150 million in new capital

Monday, August 17, 2026 — 21:50:45 (UTC)

Paris, France: 17 August 2026 - Ingenico, a global leader in payment acceptance solutions, is proud to announce an agreement to reset its capital structure, anchored by a €150 million investment from a PIMCO-led group of global investors. The investment will be used to accelerate product innovation and raise the bar on customer excellence, in line with the company’s long-standing reputation for quality, durability, trusted local service, and support.

Recently appointed CEO Floris de Kort is focused on building next-generation payment acceptance technology through cloud-based platforms, to make Ingenico a faster, simpler, and more valuable partner for customers globally.

“This agreement gives Ingenico the ability to move faster on the priorities that matter most: building great products, simplifying payment operations and delivering for our customers and partners,” said Floris de Kort, Chief Executive Officer of Ingenico. “With a strong balance sheet and new capital in place, we can execute better and invest in the areas that will define our next phase. We have the foundation, the priorities, and a team that knows how to deliver. I’ve never been more confident that Ingenico’s best years are ahead of us.”

Ingenico continues to scale its flagship AXIUM family of Android devices for retailers, banks, acquirers, and fintechs. Built on a common architecture, AXIUM is designed to be secure, durable, and adaptable, with an intuitive user experience, integrated payment flows, and the ability to upgrade to future Android versions in the field.

Ingenico 360, the company’s unified cloud platform, brings device management, transaction services, applications, and analytics into a single platform. Alongside this, Ingenico’s Developer Journey gives partners and ISVs access to APIs, tools and documentation to build, certify and launch new services faster.

The new capital will also support Ingenico’s growing Customer Excellence team and its global footprint, including new locations in London, San Francisco and Istanbul, bringing Account Managers, Solutions Engineers, and Customer Support Managers closer to customers and partners in key markets worldwide.
