Velera Included on the Forbes America’s Best Employers for Women 2026 Ranking

Tampa, Fla. (Aug. 4, 2026) – Velera, the nation’s premier payments credit union service organization (CUSO) and an integrated financial technology solutions provider, today announced it has been named to the Forbes list of America’s Best Employers for Women 2026. Velera is one of 700 companies included on the list, ranking in the top 100 of employers overall and 14th in the Banking and Financial Services industry. This marks the third consecutive year the company has been named to the list, underscoring Velera's ongoing efforts to cultivate an inclusive workplace where women are supported in their professional growth and leadership development.

Presented in collaboration with Statista, the world-leading statistics portal and industry ranking provider, the 2026 list is based on data collected through online panels, with over 146,000 women working for companies and institutions in the U.S. with at least 1,000 employees over the past three years. Only responses from women were considered.

The analysis is based on three criteria: personal recommendations from current employees, public recommendations from previous employees and an index based on the percentage of women among top executives and board directors. These categories were evaluated and combined to create a final score, with companies with the highest scores making the list.
