Trust Payments selected by Les Ambassadeurs Casino to modernise payment infrastructure
Trust Payments, a leading fintech innovator across the UK and EU, has been selected by London's prestigious Les Ambassadeurs Casino to modernise its payment infrastructure, deploying its point-of-sale technology at one of Mayfair's most historic private members' clubs.
The move reflects wider investment across premium hospitality and gaming in modern payment technology, as operators respond to changing customer expectations while maintaining the levels of service their customers expect. Contactless payments now account for the majority of UK card transactions, 75% of debit and 66% of credit card payments in March 2026, according to UK Finance, reflecting the continued growth of contactless payments across the UK economy.
Five point-of-sale terminals have been installed throughout Les Ambassadeurs' private gaming spaces and dining areas, with the deployment completed in just 72 hours. The implementation enables a seamless payment experience across the venue while simplifying payment reconciliation across gaming and hospitality.
Robert Cairns, Chief Financial Officer for Les Ambassadeurs, said: “Trust Payments terminals have integrated into our operation without fanfare, which is rather the point. The state-of-the-art terminals and frictionless service have set a new standard for us.”
Laurence Booth, Group CEO of Trust Payments, added: "Consumer expectations around payments continue to evolve, even in the most established hospitality and gaming venues. We're proud to have delivered a seamless, reliable payment experience for Les Ambassadeurs' members within the timeframe the business required, and to support Les Ambassadeurs as it continues to invest in the experience it offers its members."
Les Ambassadeurs Club, or "Les A", has welcomed aristocracy, diplomats and members of the establishment since the early 19th century and remains one of London's most exclusive private casinos.
