TRWD Appoints Technology and Payments Veteran Jeremy Woertink to Advisory Board

Former Marine and Joystick.tv senior programmer to support payment development and technology acquisitions

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Tradewinds Universal (OTC: TRWD) today announced that Jeremy Woertink has joined the Company’s Advisory Board, supporting its Financial Services Division and Management Group.

TRWD adds former Marine and Joystick.tv programmer Jeremy Woertink to advance its payment gateway and evaluate strategic tech acquisitions. Share Woertink will assist with development of a payment gateway application for the Financial Services Division. The application is intended to support digital transactions involving entertainers and venues through third-party payment providers. He will also advise TRWD in evaluating potential acquisitions of technology companies, software, intellectual property, and digital assets that could strengthen the Company’s financial services and management operations.

Woertink serves as a senior programmer for Joystick.tv, an adult-focused creator livestreaming platform for gaming and interactive content. Joystick supports subscriptions, token-based purchases, creator earnings, and multiple payout methods. His work provides relevant experience with the technology and transaction infrastructure needed to connect creators, customers, content and payments at scale.

A former United States Marine, Woertink brings experience in web application development, mobile applications, software architecture, Ruby, and JavaScript. He previously served as CTO and software developer of Namechk.com, where he rebuilt the platform to support nearly one million username search requests per day. He has also taught software development and programming.
