Fed introduces Price and Inflation Expectations Survey data explorer

Monday, December 15, 2025 — 17:22:01 (UTC)

New: Price and Inflation Expectations Survey Data Explorer Philadelphia, December 15, 2025

Introducing the Price and Inflation Expectations Survey (PIES) data explorer. This new tool shows data from the quarterly PIES survey, which gathers inflation expectations from business leaders who set prices and wages in Delaware, southern New Jersey, and eastern and central Pennsylvania.

With the explorer you can:

View expectations from firms on changes in their products’ prices, employee compensation, and U.S. inflation.

See the price changes that firms observed in their products over the past year.

Interact with firm expectations going back to 2015.

Together with other surveys, PIES offers a fuller picture of inflation expectations across the economy, aiding in economic analysis and decision-making. See the PIES findings from Q4 2025 and make sure to subscribe to receive quarterly updates.

Additional details are available in the press release.
