TRUSTECH 2025 UNVEILS THE WINNERS OF THE “TRUSTECH INNOVATION AWARDS 2025” A highlight of the event
Paris, 2 December 2025 — For this new edition, the “TRUSTECH Innovation Awards” celebrate the most significant breakthroughs in the payment and identification industry. The awards span three major categories — Identification, Security & Government Applications; Smartcards & Card Manufacturing; Innovative Payments & Payment Institutions — with an additional new category introduced this year: Bank & Issuers, created to reflect the rapid evolution of the banking ecosystem.
These Awards recognize the most advanced projects on the market and highlight the innovative capacity of its players, with the ambition of showcasing the best practices shaping the future of payments and identification. Four prizes were awarded:
Identification Solutions Category: IAI Industrial Systems with PAPERPROTECT, an innovative document-security technology capable of embedding personal data both within the core of the paper and on its surface. This dual-layer approach makes tampering virtually impossible and significantly enhances the reliability of identity and security documents — a major advancement in the fight against document fraud.
Innovative Payments Category: Market Pay with Loyalty Vault, an ingenious solution that integrates loyalty programs directly into the payment process. No more loyalty cards or dedicated apps: the payment card — whether physical or tokenized in a digital wallet (Apple Pay, Google Pay, etc.) — becomes the loyalty identifier, enabling automatic recognition at checkout and simplifying the experience for both customers and merchants. Smartcards Category: Infineon Technologies with First Commun Criteria, a solution certified to the strictest international security standards. Featuring reinforced hardware architecture and a protected execution environment, it defends sensitive data and critical transactions against advanced attacks. This solution also marks an essential step toward secure systems for the quantum era.
Bank & Issuers Category: Dynamic CVV with Cooperative Incoop, which introduces a banking security technology designed to strengthen online payment protection. The card’s security code automatically regenerates at regular intervals, rendering any stolen data immediately unusable and securing transactions in real time.
