Global CU selects NCR Atleos ATMs to support new Utqiaġvik branch in Alaska

Global Credit Union selects NCR Atleos ATMs to support new Utqiaġvik branch in Alaska’s northernmost city

ATLANTA -- NCR Atleos Corporation (NYSE: NATL) (“Atleos”), a leader in expanding self-service financial access for financial institutions, retailers and consumers, today announced that Global Credit Union (“Global”) is deploying Atleos ATMs at its newly established branch in Utqiaġvik, Alaska, the northernmost city in the United States. The deployment supports Global’s presence in the North Slope region of the state and reflects the use of Atleos self‑service banking technology in some of the world’s most remote environments.

Global’s new Utqiaġvik branch is designed to support access to essential financial services for residents and businesses in the far‑north community. The use of Atleos ATMs provides members with access to cash and self‑service transactions, alongside in‑branch services and digital offerings. Operating hundreds of miles from traditional service hubs and under extreme weather and logistical conditions, Alaska’s remote regions require specialized infrastructure and operational planning. Atleos has deep experience in deploying, monitoring and supporting self‑service banking technology in remote locations.

“The opening of our Utqiaġvik branch represents an important step in expanding access to financial services on Alaska’s North Slope,” said Erica Kemp, Vice President Branch Administration, Global Credit Union. “Working with NCR Atleos allows us to offer ATM access to more Alaskans while maintaining the level of security, availability and service our members expect.”

“Supporting financial access in places like Utqiaġvik highlights what Atleos does best,” said Steven Nogalo, General Manager of North America for Atleos. “Our service capabilities are used in demanding conditions, from dense urban centers to the most remote communities in the world. We’re proud to support Global as they deploy self-service banking technology in Alaska.”
