Kyle Huinker joins First Interstate Bank

HARTFORD, S.D.—December 17, 2025—Kyle Huinker has joined First Interstate Bank as a Commercial & Agri-Business Relationship Manager. In this role, Huinker is responsible for developing and growing new business as well as maintaining strong relationships with clients and prospects.

Huinker has 30 years of agriculture business experience including over 10 years in ag-lending, 15 years in feed/feed ingredients, and three years in grain origination. He holds a bachelor of science in Agri-Business Economics from Southern Illinois University.

“I am excited to be working in the southeast South Dakota market again, growing existing relationships and building new ones in the ag-business and commercial business community,” Huinker said.

Huinker is a member of Sunnycrest United Methodist Church, American Legion, and volunteers with Those Guys ABATE, the Banquet, and other community events. In his free time, he enjoys riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle, exploring new areas, and staying involved in his 10 children’s lives.
