Glades Bank & Trust Selects CSI to Power New South Florida Bank from Day One

NuPoint® core and Apiture® digital banking to support relationship-driven, commercially focused de novo bank designed for South Florida businesses and professionals

PADUCAH, Ky.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--CSI, a leading provider of end-to-end financial technology and software, today announced that Glades Bank & Trust, a proposed de novo bank in South Florida, has selected CSI’s NuPoint® core and Apiture® digital banking solutions to support its launch and long-term growth.

Pending regulatory approval, Glades Bank & Trust plans to launch in the first quarter of 2027, serving businesses and professionals throughout Broward County and the broader South Florida market. Its planned model pairs commercial banking capabilities and modern technology with the personalized service and accessibility of private banking.

“As we evaluated potential providers, we needed a company that understood the realities of launching a de novo bank and could provide both the technology and expertise to support the relationship-driven experience we want to deliver,” said Howard Levine, founder, chairman and CEO of Glades Bank & Trust. “From our earliest conversations with CSI, we had direct access to senior leaders who took the time to understand our vision, answer questions, and help us navigate critical decisions. For a de novo bank, that level of access and support is essential.”

By pairing CSI’s NuPoint core with Apiture’s digital banking capabilities, the bank will operate on an integrated technology environment designed to support relationship banking at scale. Clients will have direct access to a banker who can provide personalized support, with the flexibility to manage their banking digitally when they choose.

For the Glades leadership team, Apiture Business Banking emerged as a key differentiator during the selection process, bringing business banking and treasury management capabilities together in an intuitive digital experience. The solution balances ease of use with the sophisticated capabilities businesses need as they grow, enabling Glades to serve clients across a range of needs without requiring separate digital banking and treasury management platforms.

CSI’s experience supporting de novo banks — newly chartered institutions being built from the ground up — was equally important to Glades. Beyond providing the underlying technology, CSI worked closely with the bank’s leadership to identify the capabilities required to establish and operate a new institution, while establishing an infrastructure that can evolve as the bank grows.

“Launching a new bank requires hundreds of decisions, and technology should make that process simpler, not add complexity,” said Nancy Langer, president and CEO of CSI. “The Glades team has a clear vision: combine the accessibility and personal service of relationship banking with the digital capabilities businesses expect today. Our role is to bring the technology, experience, and hands-on support to help them turn that vision into reality and to continue supporting them as the bank grows.”

Glades Bank & Trust’s selection reflects CSI’s commitment to helping community financial institutions compete and grow. CSI gives institutions the flexibility to choose an open, fully integrated core banking platform or select best-of-breed, core-agnostic solutions. Across NuPoint, Apiture, and CSI’s broader portfolio, institutions can build a connected technology environment that supports both near-term priorities and long-term growth.
