InvoiceCloud Appoints Marketing Leader Madilynn Castillo as Chief Marketing Officer

B2B technology executive brings experience building and scaling global marketing organizations to support InvoiceCloud’s next phase of growth

BOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--InvoiceCloud, a leading provider of digital billing and payment solutions, today announced the appointment of Madilynn Castillo as Chief Marketing Officer. Castillo will lead InvoiceCloud’s marketing organization with responsibility for brand and market positioning, demand generation, product marketing, and customer engagement as the company continues to scale across the utility, government, and insurance industries.

Castillo joins InvoiceCloud from Tulip Interfaces, a manufacturing technology company founded out of the MIT Media Lab, where she served as CMO. During her nearly eight-year tenure, she built and led Tulip’s global marketing organization, and supported its growth from Series B through Series D when it reached a $1.3 billion valuation. She helped redefine the manufacturing execution system (MES) category and secure industry analyst recognition for Tulip’s leadership and innovation. Castillo also championed a people-centric approach to AI and led the AI Process Engineer initiative, a program designed to train 1,000 manufacturing engineers to use AI in frontline operations.

“Madilynn understands that strong marketing starts with the customer and connects directly to how we grow,” said Kevin O'Brien, CEO of InvoiceCloud. “She’s built and scaled a global marketing organization and helped establish Tulip as a leader in its category. That experience and operating discipline will help us sharpen how we go to market and bring the value InvoiceCloud delivers to more organizations.”

As CMO, Castillo will focus on strengthening InvoiceCloud’s market position, scaling demand generation in support of the company’s enterprise growth strategy, and bringing customer outcomes and product value more clearly to market.

"What drew me to InvoiceCloud is how much this team genuinely cares about the people it serves," said Castillo. "I want to get even closer to our customers, understand what they're up against day to day, and help build a marketing organization that grows this business by helping them grow too."

Castillo's appointment follows a period of continued momentum for InvoiceCloud, including the recent addition of Matthew Lane as Chief Revenue Officer, the launch of its AI-powered Billing Experience and InvoiceCloud Service Module, and more than 20 industry and workplace honors in 2025 and 2026.
