trends were seen in Canada. Traditional methods
like cash and checks continue to decline. While users
value ease of use and privacy, high fees remain a con-
cern, particularly with hidden charges in non-digital
transactions. Visa highlighted the growing role of
digital tools—including stablecoins—in improving
remittance speed, affordability and transparency as
demand for global money transfers continues to rise.
