The Payments Association hails 2022 PAY360 winners

London, United Kingdom. 6th October 2022: The Payments Association, which celebrates innovation and collaboration across the payments industry, has today announced the winners of its 15th annual PAY360 Awards.

Held at JW Marriot Grosvenor House Hotel, London, and attended by more than 850 of the most senior executives from across the payments value chain, it is the most prestigious payments ceremony in the UK. While this years’ PAY360 awards received a large volume of submissions, from over 30 countries, the deserving winners truly reflect the innovation in today’s payments sector. All 106 finalists demonstrated the highest quality across the wider payments industry, including financial inclusion, open banking and mobile payments.

The UK fintech sector comprises of over 1,600 firms, which is expected to double by 2030. The sector contributes an estimated $13.4 billion (£11 billion) and over 76,000 jobs to the UK economy. The PAY360 Awards recognises those that have broken barriers and revolutionised how we make transactions. They are the most highly regarded awards in payments, drawing hundreds of the leading experts and market leaders.

Tony Craddock, director general of The Payments Association, said: “As we mark the 15th year of the awards and the first under their new name, I am overwhelmed by the enthusiasm and passion every company continues to bring to the PAY360 Awards. Since its inception, but particularly over the past year, the payments industry has grown significantly and become increasingly competitive.
