British Army veteran Will Anderson joins Featurespace C-suite

Cambridge, Atlanta, Singapore, September 22, 2021 – Featurespace™, the leading provider of Enterprise Crime Prevention software, has hired Will Anderson as Chief Communications and Marketing Officer.

In addition to nearly two decades of global communications and marketing experience in the tech, telecoms and financial services sectors, Anderson served 17 years as an officer and Major in the British Army, operating in some of the world’s most complex and demanding environments.

“Will’s exemplary leadership stems from a unique combination of military service, international communications and brand marketing experience, and business acumen. Prior to Featurespace, Anderson served as Senior Vice President of Corporate Affairs and Brand at Careem, the Super App for the wider Middle East region. At Careem, Anderson was responsible for leading communications, government relations and launching a refreshed brand strategy following the company’s acquisition by Uber. He was also a partner at Brunswick Group, the global strategic communications advisory firm, where he worked for eight years.

At Featurespace, Anderson is part of the executive team. Reporting to the CEO, Martina King, he will lead a growing team of communications and marketing experts across EMEA, the Americas and APAC.

Anderson earned a Master of Business Administration from Cranfield University, England and was made an MBE in the 2007 Queen's New Years Honours List for exemplary leadership during military service.

Concurrent with Anderson joining Featurespace are the company's recent notable successes, which include being honored with a Queen’s Award for Enterprise: International Trade and recognized by The Card & Payments Awards with NatWest for the Best Security and Anti-Fraud Development category.
