ATMIA Publishes Research Report on the Independant ATM Sector in Germany

Tuesday, December 10, 2019 — 14:25:29 (EST)

ATMIA has today published a new research report on the Independent ATM sector in Germany. The study is the next phase of its global study of IAD (Independent ATM Deployer) markets and opportunities, following on from earlier studies of the North American and UK markets.

“ATMIA is proud of this new study of independent ATMs in a leading European country,” explained Mike Lee, CEO of ATMIA. “The association is able to produce affordable industry retail banking research focused on retail ATMs in the independent sector.”

In this German study, the research editor, industry veteran and award-winning consultant, Leland Englebardt, of Upshot Advisors, interprets the data and trends analysis to reveal a cash-intensive economy with a robust independent sector with room for additional growth in future.

The report gives a detailed overview of the economy and independent ATM sector in Germany before looking at ATM data and IAD market share, cash use, ATM density, ATM economics, the structure of the ATM network, competitive factors and IAD business developments and opportunities. The appendices include “ATM Locations by Bank Group in Germany”, “ATM Locations per 10,000 Inhabitants in Germany and “German Payment Preferences by Transaction Value”.

“If you are looking for a one-stop research reference resource for understanding the ATM and IAD industry in Germany, you need look no further than this fine, fact-based and comprehensive study,” Lee concludes.
