Dejavoo Systems CEO sends urgent SPIn proxy notification

Mineola, N.Y., May 24, 2019 -- This notice is for any merchant who is integrated with a POS System and is using our SPIn Proxy. If a Merchant is not semi-integrated or using SPIn Proxy this does not pertain to them.

Dear SPIn (Secure Payment Integration) Valued Customers:

Beginning last night, Thursday 5/23/19, starting at approximately 6:30PM EDT an issue was reported that affected several SPIn Proxy users where as Semi-integrated solutions that connect through our SPIn Proxy server were disconnecting and unable to reconnect. This lasted for about 30 minutes. We then experienced a similar issue this morning. To prevent this from continuing to happen we are performing emergency maintenance today, Friday 5/24/19, from approximately 1:30PM - 3:00PM EDT.

During this time some users may experience a scenario where a terminal will disconnect from the SPIn Proxy server and will then automatically reconnect, taking no longer than 60 seconds to reconnect. We apologize for any inconvenience should any of your merchants be affected and appreciate your patience while we resolve the reported issue. Thank you.

WHO DOES THIS AFFECT? This affects merchants that have integrated their POS System through their Dejavoo terminal.

THE ISSUE: Integrated terminals experienced disconnecting and were not reconnecting for up to 30 mins.

THE SOLUTION: Emergency maintenance will be done today Friday 5/24/19 between 1:30-3PM EDT to resolve the issue, during which time some Semi-Integrated merchants may experience a terminal disconnecting from the server and automatically reconnecting - expectation is no longer than 60 seconds to reconnect.
