Las Vegas, March 27, 2019 -- The Women’s Network in Electronic Transactions (Wnet), in partnership with leading payments provider and Wnet member Paysafe Group (Paysafe), today announced the Wnet Networking Reception at TRANSACT. Powered by The Electronic Transactions Association (ETA), TRANSACT is the world’s largest payments technology event and takes place in Las Vegas from April 30 to May 2, 2019. The complimentary reception for Wnet members will take place on Wednesday, May 1, from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., at Paysafe’s TRANSACT booth, #2103. “Our TRANSACT networking reception will be a chance to meet with friends, colleagues, leaders, and speakers to build lasting connections with professionals from across the payments ecosystem,” said Wnet Executive Director Lisl Dutterer. “Additionally, we look forward to spotlighting how our 2019 Wnet Leadership Summit will serve as a platform for creating more leadership positions for the talented women in the payments industry.”

TRANSACT provides 4,000 attendees with a robust exhibit hall with more than 200 exhibitors, extensive networking events, and forward-looking educational sessions on the groundbreaking technologies, trends, and policies shaping the payments industry. “As the hub of payments technology, TRANSACT brings together the diverse ecosystem in the industry to create unparalleled business, education and networking opportunities,” said Amy Zirkle, Interim CEO of ETA. “We applaud and support Wnet’s mission to provide valuable networking, mentoring, and leadership growth opportunities for women throughout the industry, and we are pleased that TRANSACT can help support that goal.”

This year’s networking event, which is open to men and women, will offer the opportunity to network with executives of ISOs, VARs, and ISVs, payment facilitators, financial institutions, and even innovative technology companies in the payments space such as Wnet member Paysafe.

O.B. Rawls, President of Payment Processing North America at Paysafe Group, said: “At Paysafe, we are committed to being a leader in diversity and inclusion across the global payments industry and treating everyone with respect. We promote this workplace culture not just because it’s the right thing to do, but because we recognize that the payments industry benefits from a diverse and inclusive workforce in terms of delivery and results. It’s one of the reasons we are a proud Wnet member.”

Rawls added: “Last year, Paysafe re-launched its diversity and inclusion (D&I) program with a broad range of additional initiatives and investments. We are focused on ensuring that D&I is embedded in our company DNA, and we are pleased with the steady progress we are making. Supporting events such as this is all part of that program and ongoing progress.”
