Princeton Junction, N.J., Aug. 4, 2016 -- The mobile wallet market today is the Wild West of the payments industry—it is largely undefined, there are no commonly-used security standards, and it is an open territory for innovation. For payments stakeholders looking to rein-in mobile wallets and understand the mobile wallet landscape, security considerations, and the business impact of mobile payments technology, the Smart Card Alliance will host a full-day mobile wallet workshop this September as part of its training and education initiatives through the Alliance’s National Center for Advanced Payments and Identity Security, in Crystal City, Virginia.
The one-day workshop, “Mobile Wallets – the Wild West of Payments,” will be held on September 15, 2016, and will be hosted in-person at the training center and streamed live for remote attendees. For those unable to attend, the workshop will also be recorded and made available online after the event.
