APG Cash Drawer names Stone as Global VP of Engineering

Minneapolis, July 25, 2016 -- APG Cash Drawer, a fast growing global manufacturer of cash management solutions, announced today the addition of Bob Stone to the position of Global Vice President of Engineering. In his role, Stone will spearhead the corporate engineering functions and lead the continuous innovation for the company’s worldwide product development.

Based in Atlanta, Georgia, Bob Stone is a point-of-sale industry veteran with extensive engineering experience in technology, product management, and development for POS platforms and payment terminals. Prior to joining APG, Stone served as SVP of Product for PowaPOS and led global hardware product management for NCR Hospitality and Radiant Systems. For over 15 years, Stone directed the introduction of industry-leading technology for hospitality and retail sites. Areas of product innovation include point-of-sale terminals, application specific intelligent systems, and mobile/ tablet based POS products. Throughout his career, Stone has worked closely with customers and partners ranging from major restaurant and convenience store chains to regional technology resellers.
