AnywhereCommerce teams with Prosa in Mexico

Montreal, Nov. 13, 2013 – AnywhereCommerce, a global mobile payments technology provider, announced that it has entered into a strategic partnership with Prosa, a merchant services provider serving Mexico and other markets throughout the region, to provide a feature-rich end-to-end mobile payment solution, including, acceptance devices, software applications, and gateway services to support Prosa’s deployment of comprehensive mobile point-of-sale (mPOS) solutions.

As a result of the agreement, Prosa will deploy AnywhereCommerce’s “aCommerce Gateway” for accepting credit, debit, cash, and gift card payments, as well as the company’s payment accepting software application, and its popular line of mPOS devices, including the highly regarded Walker™ model. Walker is EMVCo-certified and gives merchants the power to accept EMV as well as magnetic-stripe based card payments.
