Cash Connect ATM service adds web, mobile interface

Newark, Delaware, Jan. 22, 2013 - Managing ATM service tickets just became a lot easier for Cash Connect's Total Cash Management (TCM) clients with the introduction of a web and mobile ticketing interface. The feature allows clients to open service requests for armored carriers or maintenance providers through Cash Connect's CashTrack web portal. Tickets are then opened with the appropriate service provider, sometimes automatically via live data feeds.

"This feature makes life much easier for our clients," said Jonathan Waterhouse who manages Cash Connect's TCM division. "Being able to open tickets, get updates, and keep track of everything through one site is tremendously valuable. Having a single point of dispatch for multiple vendors is also a big time saver. It doesn't matter if they are sending a carrier back to fix a load error or dispatching a service provider for a bill jam, Cash Connect dispatches the appropriate vendor at the right branch."

"Speed of resolution has really been enhanced through this system," said John Clatworthy, Cash Connect's SVP of Client Services. "One client went to check on a service ticket shortly after it had been opened only to find that the problem had been fixed, the ticket closed, and the ATM was back up and running. This is exactly the kind of efficiency the industry needs."

Live data feeds between Cash Connect and certain service vendors removes the need for manual intervention. This allows information to be passed from the client to the end technician seamlessly, improving resolution speed and, ultimately, ATM uptime.

The ticketing system also helps keep a more exact record of tickets and issues such as carrier errors. This information is used by Cash Connect to ensure more accurate invoices and ensure clients receive the benefits of service level agreements.

Total Cash Management services include cash forecasting, armored carrier and first line maintenance management for Cash Connect's vault cash clients. The services are designed to allow Cash Connect's clients to pool buying power for armored carrier volume discounts, and outsource expensive and time-consuming tasks related to cash forecasting and carrier management.
