Focus Display releases high-contrast color LCD POS module

Chandler, Ariz., Aug. 1, 2011 -- Focus Display Solutions ( www.FocusLCD.com ), a leader in custom LCD design solutions, is launching a new Custom color LCD offering. The Focus FSC Color LCD display (focuslcd.com/custom-fsc-lcd-displays/) is designed to provide POS companies with a lower cost alternative to TFT and CSTN color display technology.

The "FSC Color LCD display”, also identified as an Field Sequential Display, allows OEM’s of POS equipment the ability to design the customer interface around the LCD module. In the past, Point of Sale manufacturers have been forced to design their product around the display. With the FSC technology, this is no longer an issue.

Advantages of the new technology include.
