TenderCard receives certification for PCCharge
Falmouth, Mass., Jan. 12, 2009 -- TenderCard, a leader in the stored value industry, announces their certification on VeriFone's PCCharge v.5.7.1 Release I SP8. PCCharge software enables merchants to utilize their existing PC or PC-based POS system into a secure payment-accepting and processing device without interfering with other programs. This certification enables merchants processing transactions through providers using PCCharge as their back end to process gift card transactions through TenderCard.
“We are obviously very excited about taking this step,” stated TenderCard’s CEO Aaron Sorgman. “We strive to offer our ISOs and their merchants every tool available in today’s marketplace.”
TenderCard has utilized VeriFone’s API to integrate their two systems and expects to see substantial growth among merchants in the restaurant, e-commerce, mail order and telephone only subsets.
“As is often the case, we’re making this move in response to our ISOs’ requests,” added Sorgman. “This certification is another example of how highly we value their input.”
Started in 1997, TenderCard has grown from a pioneer in the stored value industry to an industry leader. With over 1,000 ISO relationships representing some 50,000 merchants, TenderCard offers a gift/loyalty card solution to meet every business’s needs.
