Boca Raton, Fla., July 2, 2018 -- TouchSuite has announced it has acquired the assets of IQ Payment Systems, dba Alpine Payment Systems (“Alpine”), through a newly formed subsidiary.
Founded in 2007, Alpine is a merchant acquirer based out of Vancouver, Washington that services the restaurant, hospitality and retail verticals. Alpine has built an award-winning integrated payments business with a highly scalable distribution platform.
The acquisition of Alpine broadens TouchSuite’s presence in the western United States, providing additional resources and support for merchants. TouchSuite and Alpine have developed an aggressive growth strategy and initiated the recruitment of top talent. Utilizing TouchSuite’s collection of technology products, strong capital base and expertise in advising ISOs in the payments sector, Alpine expects to expand rapidly over the next year.
“We are excited to welcome the Alpine management team and its employees to the TouchSuite family. Alpine will serve as TouchSuite’s west coast hub and enable us to better serve our clients throughout the United States and Canada,” said Sam Zietz, Founder and CEO of TouchSuite.
This acquisition will expand TouchSuite’s distribution of its offerings, which include POS hardware and payment services along with proprietary software solutions for businesses of all sizes. As a result, Alpine will broaden its platform and deliver more compelling services to meet merchant demands. TouchSuite remains an active acquirer of payment-related businesses focused on merchant acquiring, new product development and value-added solutions providers.
“The Alpine executive team shares TouchSuite’s commitment for delivering high valued solutions to its customers base, making them an ideal partner. Together we strengthen our position as an industry leader and continue to create significant value for our merchants.” Chief Corporate Development Officer for TouchSuite, Richard Feldman commented.
Leveraging TouchSuite’s existing infrastructure, Alpine will focus on providing exceptional service and solutions to merchants. TouchSuite also expects to increase wallet share of Alpine’s established customer base through its cross-sell team and incentive programs.
“At Alpine we believe the most successful business strategies work when we align our vision with our clients and partners. We are thrilled to have the opportunity to collaborate with TouchSuite and look forward to continued growth and many client successes in the future,” said Darrell J. Dirks, Senior Vice President of Alpine.
