Wind River Financial names Carow as President, CEO

Madison, Wis., April 28, 2016 -- Wind River Financial is pleased to announce that Mike Carow has been chosen as President and Chief Executive Officer effective April 5th, for the Madison-based electronic payments solution company. Carow takes over leadership from Mark Taber, who is retiring as of the end of April after eight years with the company.

Mr. Carow brings more than 20 years of experience as a senior level business professional in the payment and technology industries. He has held key roles in companies such as Metavante, eFunds, NuEdge Systems, and PKWARE. Most recently, Carow was managing partner of IncentEdge, a value-added technology reseller and consultancy focusing on customer engagement, loyalty, and payments.

A 1986 graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, Mike earned Dean’s List Honors while earning a Bachelor of Administration degree in Finance with an emphasis in Financial Planning in three years.
