MRC elects new board

Seattle, Wash., Aug. 4, 2015 -- The Merchant Risk Council (MRC), a global organization providing a platform for eCommerce fraud and payments professionals to come together and share information, has announced the results of their 2015 American Advisory Board and European Advisory Board elections today. “As the MRC continues to grow and flourish, we look forward to new ideas, direction and contributions from our Board Members and Advisors. We are fortunate to have a diverse, influential and highly motivated group of individuals representing and guiding our organization. As we prepare to launch several innovative resources, including a new website, we’re excited to continue building on that productivity for a successful year ahead,” says Danielle Nagao, CEO.

The regional boards address emerging risks and questions of MRC's contingency within their respective geographic areas. The Global Board assesses the health of the organization and determines large scale initiatives. Each board member brings unique expertise and qualifications to the MRC to help the organization thrive. MRC Board members represent a broad cross-section of its members. MRC's membership is comprised of senior professionals from key online and multi-channel merchants, solution providers, law enforcement agencies, issuers and credit card brands, all committed to making eCommerce more safe, efficient and profitable.
