Datablink mobile app to secure transactions for Policard

Tysons Corner, Va., April 21, 2015 -- Datablink, Inc., a global provider of advanced authentication and transaction signing solutions, today announced that Policard, a leading electronic payments provider in Brazil, selected the Datablink Mobile 200 app to strengthen security for its customers' debit and credit card usage as well as at ATM machines.

More than 10,000 Policard customers receiving governmental and employer electronic payments or other benefits will use Datablink Mobile 200, an advanced mobile app for smartphones that provides a simple, highly secure method of accessing Policard's online accounts.

It's specifically designed to prevent unauthorized access and fraudulent online transactions stemming from threats such as stolen static passwords and the latest social engineering attacks. Rather than requiring a user to physically type a code into a device to generate a one-time password, Datablink Mobile 200 allows customers to quickly use their smartphone to create a secure out-of-band connection with the back end of a financial institution and confirm their identities and transactions.

By partnering with Banco24Horas and implementing the Datablink Management API, Policard will quickly enable customers to use the Datablink 200 mobile app to gain enhanced security for physical ATM transactions as well as for online banking conducted directly through Policard.com.br. Both access options offer easy, fast protection.
