Hahn Air teams with Wirecard on HR e-Payment program

Aschheim, Germany, November 20, 2014 -- The Wirecard Group is supporting the sales specialist Hahn Air with a new electronic industry solution, "HR e-Payment". This payment card for travel agencies is based on Wirecard's payment technology and banking licence. HR e-Payment now also enables travel agencies to process payments in more than 105 countries via the Billing and Settlement Plan (BSP). A completely new payment option has been developed for the travel agent sector by combining Hahn Air's booking and ticketing platforms with the expertise of Wirecard as a payment specialist.

Hahn Air is a German scheduled airline that specialises in sales services for other airlines. The company works with more than 300 air and rail partners as well as with 91,000 travel agencies. It will now be using the UATP-based card, known as the HR e-Payment Account, which will be managed via Wirecard's payment platform. The cards are available to travel agencies for the payment of Hahn Air tickets in all sales channels and, in particular, for flights booked via e-direct(R) - the HR Booking Portal.
