Check Into Cash celebrates customers in Athens

Cleveland, Tenn. Oct. 17, 2014 -- Check Into Cash is having a Customer Appreciation Event this weekend! The event will take place on Friday, October 17, from 3 to 6 p.m. at 1838 Decatur Pike in Athens. The celebration will offer food, giveaways, and fun for the entire family!

"Our Athens customers aren't just customers -- they're friends!" said Check Into Cash President Steve Scoggins. "So we hope this event will be a huge success and show our customers how much we value them."

A King Ranch F-150 that was owned by President George W. Bush will be on display at the store during the event. The truck, which bears George W. Bush's signature on the right airbag panel, was used exclusively on his ranch in Crawford, Texas. "Our Athens customers have the rare opportunity to see a truck once owned by President George W. Bush," said Scoggins. "This is a great vehicle, bought for a great cause, on tour for great people to enjoy."

The Bush pickup was purchased at the Barrett-Jackson auction house in Scottsdale, Arizona on January 19, 2013. Proceeds from the truck's sale went to the Fisher House Foundation, a charity providing free housing for families of military service members who are receiving medical treatment.
